The Learned Society of Slovakia 
The Learned Society of the Czech Republic unveiled a memorial plaque to prof. Rudolf Zahradník
At the invitation of the President of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic, prof. RNDr. Libor Grubhoffer, CSc., on March 14, 2024 the President of the UčSS Jozef Noga took part in the unveiling of the memorial plaque to prof. Ing. Rudolf Zahradník, DrSc. Dr. h. c. mult., world-renowned physical and theoretical chemist, founder and first president of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic. In his speech Jozef Noga expressed his pride in the fact that Rudolf Zahradník was a native of Bratislava. Another member of the UčSS, prof. Miroslav Urban also took part in the lovely celebration. Apart from their professional closeness, the two attending members of the UčSS also shared a long-standing personal friendship with Rudolf Zahradník.
