General assembly, Nov 20, 2024
On November 20, 2024, the General Assembly of the Learned Society of Slovakia took place in the Science Park of the University of Bratislava, which was dedicated to the evaluation of the activities of the UčSS in 2023 as well as to the awarding of diplomas to the new members of the Learned Society of Slovakia, who were elected on October 8, 2024:

This year the award of the Scholarly Society of Slovakia for outstanding interdisciplinary scientific output was given to prof. MUDr. Ján Slezák, DrSc., FIACS and his collaborators for a set of papers with the cumulative title: “Molecular hydrogen in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease”.
The last item on the programme was a lecture by academician Štefan Vilček on the topic: “SARS-CoV-2: Five years of the search for the origin of the mysterious virus”.
